W D Schock Corporation was founded in California, shortly after the World War II. W D Schock Corporation is recognized as a racing sailboat, and yacht company, in several one-design classes. Constructing more than 70 different designs of sailboats since 1946, W D Schock Corporation range of vessels ranged from an 8-foot day sailing boat, to a 40-foot offshore yacht.
Actual Condition
It is suspected the drain hose for the galley sink was disconnected, which allowed water to enter the vessel, and flooding it to about 2' above the floorboards inside the cabin. There doesn't appear to be any water in the engine. However, there is water damage to the floorboards and cabinetry woodwork, near the cabin deck, as well as electrical equipment including; batteries, pumps and wiring. The 10-gallon water heater is damaged.
